Being Global means more than traveling the globe..So What Does it Mean?

Abstract

Nowadays, the terms being global or globalization have become buzz words. In Education, people often use these terms without having a deep understanding of their potential impact. In this reflection, the author offers her thoughts about what it means to be a global citizen based on her background, lived experiences and years of practice as a teacher, principal and professor.
